I have been playing TTRGP with DM Paul for more than 30 years, through myriad games and a plethora of colorful characters. From the first day at his table, and almost every game session since, I have been transported to worlds of fantasy and excitement, through the highs of successful campaigns and the lows of the deaths of beloved characters. What I love the most are the stories he tells. It has been a few months since I began my online RPG journey with DM Paul, and I have found the experience to be incredibly amazing. He has worked hard behind the scenes to ensure his worlds are working as good as they can considering how many community mods are broken with each D&D Beyond update. Many of the weapons have had to be coded to work, which DM Paul has consistently been able to get done before the next session. DM Paul likes to use mood music, which is often on the mark. He also voices NPCs, and does cool sound effects too. He is patient with new players; he is very encouraging and helpful if they appear to be struggling. If you have a great idea that you think your character could do, speak up! DM Paul likes his players to be creative, and bring their own flair to their characters. He also appreciates good roleplaying, and he rewards players for their efforts. From classic Greyhawk adventures to epic Rifts campaigns, the stories DM Paul has crafted for the players at his table have been truly wonderful. He has an amazing ability to include each of the characters in the party with elements in the story that cater specifically to them, while using published material more as a general setting to his story rather than as the gospel. Whether you're more into Fantasy or Sci-Fi, you'll enjoy your sessions with DM Paul.
