David's strongest point is his incredible story-building and character voices!! I remember one character, Jenkins, was a bugbear pretending to be an old human. He had the most iconic eclectic old man voice, and Jenkins became the inside joke of the campaign. He later was revealed to be the leader of the rebellion. I'll never forget him, lol!! David does more than just build incredible stories, though. He also makes sure he creates a safe space for all his players. If you don't feel comfortable with a certain type of content, then he won't include it - no questions asked. And he's open to allowing players be super creative with their background. One time we had a paladin who worshipped Hatsune Miku who was an anime fanatic, wore a fedora, and said things like "m'lady". If you have an idea, he'll find a way to make it work within reason!! That's what I love most about David's games. I have room to explore some really interesting plotlines, like the one time I played a cleric turned warlock turned back to cleric. Character development!! Anyway, I highly recommend David as a GM if you want interesting stories, a safe and casual environment, and room to explore fun backstories and character development!!
