Lexi shines as a very flexible GM, both in terms of scheduling and gameplay. If a player can't attend a session she's happy to move the session time or day to one that works for everyone if the other players agree to it. And if a player wants to do something that might not be exactly within the bounds of "the rules" but fits with their character's background/motivations and serves the narrative in the moment, she'll bend things to let them try it. Her storytelling chops are well honed by all her experience as a player and GM. Whether it's a module or homebrew campaign, she gives her NPCs depth and personality that keep encounters & interactions interesting, engaging, and conducive to excellent RP & story/character building opportunities for her players. Speaking of RP, Lexi encourages her players to really tap into their inner thespian while not pressuring anyone to dive deeper into that aspect of gameplay than they're comfortable with. She'll let players chew on a scene if their characters really start running with it. We've had everything from heartfelt moments of vulnerability to full-on screaming matches between player characters in our game, so if you really enjoy RP then Lexi's your girl! Lastly, her inclusivity is unmatched, especially when it comes to LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent players. She never pressures, criticizes, or berates her players for their quirks, eccentricities, or play style, and subscribes to the Will Wheaton philosophy of "just don't be a dick" when it comes to how she expects players to interact with her and each other. And she encourages her players to develop real out-of-game friendships with each other through dedicated player chat rooms in Discord, which helps players who may be shy, socially awkward, or any other flavor of neurospicy to find and make important connections with others who can relate and understand, and won't judge.
