Todd is a veteran GM, and it shows! His encounters are well made, and often unconventional, such as when the party wound up making a fighting retreat through an entire dungeon recently in the game I am in with him. He rolls with the punches the players throw at him, and keeps things moving in ways you don't tend to expect! His style is fast paced, and keeps you on your toes, though not so much that it is uncomfortable. Pretty much every combat has been a thrilling challenge, but with plenty of time for the PCs to show their mettle and feel strong. His setting design is a delightful mix of new ideas and old school flavor. I don't think I've ever been in a campaign before that featured a halfling lich as a prominent villain who wasn't also a joke. Said lich arrived in our campaign on a Spelljammer, and quickly got to work making trouble with his necro-mechanical minions... who wound up at war with an ancient alliance of dragons of all things. I cannot recomend Todd's games enough!
