The game with Todd was snappy and rewarding! He keeps things moving, is knowledgeable about the rules, and applies them fairly and gracefully. In other words, while keeping balance, he lets players have fun with their plans and character concepts. I have never felt punished for making a "wrong" choice, or unduly punished for failing a roll. Probably the best embodiment of "fail forward" that I have seen in person. Todd has the patience to deal with newcomers and the experience to satisfy long-time gamers. I especially recommend him to players who want to build the story cooperatively. The world he set up for us had pieces moving in the background and I still get happy chills when I think about the ways my character's actions made a difference in the big narrative. I look forward to more games with him!
