Reviews I've given (1)
Andrew was the first GM I played DnD with. After the one-shot, one of the other players messaged me, "If you're lucky, you'll never need another DM in your life." And 1), that player is the most critical, picky player I've ever encountered in my life, and 2), after having played with several other DM's, he was right. Andrew is not only a fantastic storyteller, he is a good DM (and those are separate things). He not only builds interesting and original worlds that are customized to the party, each players story and journey is customized to *them*. Our backstories are incredibly integrated into the world, and our decisions matter long after we make them. He balances spotlight and builds cities that feel true and "lived in." Also, this man has *range*. We've had entire sessions cracking jokes and literally finding three goblins in a trench coat. We've also had sessions where most of us cried, and arcs that make me wax philosophical months later. He introduces interesting battle mechanics, and creates unique and original settings. In short, get this man before his schedule gets flooded.
