Opossum is honestly such a wonderful DM. Not only is he enthusiastic about seamlessly placing any player's character within the existing realm and allowing their backstory to become prominent within the main story itself, but he takes great care with the nuances of worldbuilding in order to increase the impact of his storytelling. He will write out extensive documents just to get everything he has in his mind onto paper, but what I really enjoy the most about Opossum's DMing is his storytelling. His way of setting a scene will have me completely hooked! I've been scared for my life, enchanted by the sights surrounding, excited to delve deeper into mysteries that fell into our hands a little too perfectly, betrayed by unexpected twists, giddy beyond belief, and so much more. I think that Opossum would be a great DM for anyone interested in mainly RP. That's not to say that those who want a little action won't be able to find it, in fact, Opossum has given us truly terrifying combat experiences from time to time! He will find ways to make enormous battles unfold seamlessly, to back you into a corner and have to think about the consequences of the fight going forward... but I can see the amount of work he puts making sure that player characters are truly valued, and that their influence on a story can lead to compelling and rich moments of narrative beauty. I really cannot recommend him enough.
