I've played with Stev as my DM in multiple games. I didn't know anything about how to play and he taught me just by diving into a game. He's a wonderful, patient teacher for beginners. Stev is, first and foremost, a storyteller, so if you like narrative-heavy adventuring and immersive world-building, you should give him a try. He also encourages his players to explore their creativity with their characters. His first rule is to make sure everyone is having fun. I also asked him to create a combat-heavy, one-shot game as a Christmas present for our player friends, and he did not disappoint. Everyone had a blast.
