Kassai is a very unique DM in that he likes to focus on the player's back stories and development as much as the development of the world and the story. He works with as much as the player puts into their own character. A lot of DMs may claim they operate like this, but few do, and even less as well as Kassai does. He also takes painstaking efforts to be descriptive and create flare and texture to the overall experience and narrative. He is thoughtful and runs his games keeping the players in mind above the world and NPCs, ensuring you feel your characters are making a real change or difference in the world. Also, It might be worth mentioning that while he does not relish a PCs death, he is not afraid to let the consequences of actions take place. Finally, because I cannot reccomend Kassai enough, let me just sum everything up by saying he is probably the best DM I have ever played with out of maybe 20 DMs/Experiences.
Aglovale is a great DM who fosters a lot of player creativity. He is very flexible and believes in adjusting the world's difficulty to match the players' growing power. His willingness to incorporate the "rule of cool" adds a unique flavor to the game, making it very dynamic. However, my experience with his sessions has leaned towards being quite combat-focused.
Prince was really chill during our W5 one shot. Me and my packmates felt comfortable to jump right in and start solving the case that was before us. Even though Prince was new to DM W5, they were super quick to reference anything they needed to, and it did not slow the session or detract from the experience. Music was provided, and it was awesome.
When I joined Liko's campaign, I did not have much in the way of expectations. I figured it would be the normal D&D experience, especially for how much he charges (less than others). I was pleasantly surprised to find that this DM is charging too little for his services. He is far superior to most of the other D&D DMs I have experienced. He integrates backstories, side quests, humor, voices, can adapt on the fly and improv, as well as offer a welcoming and patient D&D environment. I can't recommend this DM enough.
