Very knowledgeable of the rules and mechanics but also provides a very relaxed and easygoing environment. Sessions are always fun even when the dice fail you.

If you're new to d&d lime me, I'd totally recommend Richard as a dm. Knowledgeable and patient also a good story teller.

Really fun and supportive of player creativity. Would definitely recommend.

For your first intro to D&D, you should really give him a try. He's very adept at relaying the rules and mechanics in a simple and to the point way. Also the patience of a Saint so a big plus for me.
