About me

Salutations, one and all! I’m a 46yo male. I’ve played every edition of DnD, and GM’ed for all of them for more than 30 years, both official adventures and those of my own design. To me, a DM is a storyteller; someone who guides characters on their adventures and helps them grow into who they are meant to be. It’s not an adversarial relationship, it’s a symbiotic one. I expect my game to be free of “isms” and “phobias”, such as Sexism, homophobia, etc.

GM Style

As a GM, I love all aspects of play: Combat, RP, Exploration, etc. I appreciate when players get into their characters, but I don’t expect you to be able to give spontaneous speeches, or to have the same knowledge your character would. If your character would have a chance to know something, I’ll let you know. Also, open to all levels of experience. 😎

If you're new to d&d lime me, I'd totally recommend Richard as a dm. Knowledgeable and patient also a good story teller.

Richard is friendly, open to ideas, and knowledgeable about the game. A great option for beginners or experts alike. Regardless of your experience, I’d highly recommend him as a DM. Apparently he likes tips, too. No, he didn’t tell me to say that. Why are you looking at me funny? (Just kidding. Kinda. Everyone appreciates tips for a job well done, right?)

Richard is very nice and welcoming to his players. He guides and helps us understand how to use the tools to play the game. He is laid-back and he listens as much as he narrates the events and their consequences. I wholeheartedly encourage you to try him as your DM.
