Herb is one of those DMs that makes people comfortable to play with, when i first jumped into his Cyberpunk Campaign i was restless, but he showed me the ropes and how to handle everything, from my character build to my character background story up to the finale, it was sad that i had to play with him for only 12 sessions but it was the most unforgettable experience i will ever have. When he tells a story, he immerse you into it and when his world is ever engaging, all the npcs feels alive and not just cutboard cutouts. I can tell you one thing, if you're into heavy combat you can forget about it, he is very into the build up of your character storyline than wanting to kill off your characters in combat. Worth the 3 months playing with him.

This man appreciates the fine details of playing Dungeons and Dragons, and i have been playing in his game for years. He's never missed a session unless family duties but i am already in four to five of his campaign and herb truly cares and wants to get to know his players better even after many sessions. He can be super hands on and help you through the process from creating a character to learning how to play them, or he can be hands off and let your character do whatever dumbass thing they want and suffer the repercussions later, but who cares as long as we are having fun and laugh about it. He has amazing visuals and sound effects and voices and this motherfucker built an ENTIRE MAP FROM SCRATCH just to let us have a stupid one off adventure that wasn't relevant to the story, and ITS IN FUCKING ISOMETRIC! WHO DOES THAT?! If you want a DM who cares about you and the campaign he runs, this is your guy.
