I've played with Raul many times, both as a GM and fellow player- and it was hard to pick only three tags for him. He has an encyclopedic knowledge of the rules which never fails to impress me, and has always shown great attention to detail when it comes to PC backstories. For example, one time I'd made a Loxodon Druid with a monolithic backstory - Raul not only read it all but also weaved it into his story, including a really touching scene where my Druid realized that the little black kitten called Beans that they had spent the entire campaign protecting was actually a reincarnation of their long-lost soulmate (what a sentence). Many tears were shed that night. Kittens aside, Raul is a wonderful storyteller and always up for an adventure no matter how wacky. His voice-acting talents also bring a great comedic/dramatic element to the table. I usually play lesbian/WLW characters and I can confirm that Raul also does a great job creating an inclusive, queer-friendly space at the table and in his adventures. In short, I couldn't recommend Raul enough. He is also beginner-friendly (can speak from experience) so don't be shy!
