In my experience having Raul as a GM, I can say that he makes games very enjoyable, engaging and pleasant. I would recommend him to any players, as he's diligent, resorceful, knowledgeable and flexible. And I would especially recommend him as a GM to beginners and/or someone nervous about playing as he's very patient, respectful, reassuring, calm and his sessions have a chill and fun atmosphere between him and the players off-game (while respecting the vibe of whatever is happening to the characters in-game, of course), which can make the experience more comfortable for someone who might me anxious. His sessions are very fun across all elements of gameplay, he makes space for character agency and party interaction and has engaging ways of keeping players on character without pressuring them to do so. Raul is absolutely able to meet players where they are at in regards to game rules, recalling of past sessions' events, roleplay and character ideas and recommendations. Also, he's very open and encouraging about player's ideas about their own characters and integrating all of it in the story.

I'm a forever GM since I can remember, mostly because I don't trust other GMs. Raul was the first one where I had so much fun, that I stuck around for a whole campaign and wanted to keep playing forever . His ability to make the game rules seem seamless while creating vivid characters and stories was mind blowing, and I would recomend him for everyone who loves a good game!

Raul is a great DM, and specially shines with his combat set pieces. The combat scenes he brings are compelling, each moves feels like it has narrative importance, and each foe feels like a worthy foe (showing now only good storytelling but also good balance in combat). Also, really good at setting and maintaining the mood in horror adventures. Highly recommend!

I've played with Raul many times, both as a GM and fellow player- and it was hard to pick only three tags for him. He has an encyclopedic knowledge of the rules which never fails to impress me, and has always shown great attention to detail when it comes to PC backstories. For example, one time I'd made a Loxodon Druid with a monolithic backstory - Raul not only read it all but also weaved it into his story, including a really touching scene where my Druid realized that the little black kitten called Beans that they had spent the entire campaign protecting was actually a reincarnation of their long-lost soulmate (what a sentence). Many tears were shed that night. Kittens aside, Raul is a wonderful storyteller and always up for an adventure no matter how wacky. His voice-acting talents also bring a great comedic/dramatic element to the table. I usually play lesbian/WLW characters and I can confirm that Raul also does a great job creating an inclusive, queer-friendly space at the table and in his adventures. In short, I couldn't recommend Raul enough. He is also beginner-friendly (can speak from experience) so don't be shy!

Amazing DM, and a huge pleasure to be on his table. Makes great voices and characters, his small fey voices and acting are out of this world. Immersion in the setting is easy with all the work at background characters and music selection. He also know all about the game, and is very open for players creativity, while making a fun and safe environment to everyone.

Raul is such a great GM! I’ve played a few games with him already and it’s always been a blast! He knows a lot about the systems he plays and their rules so either if you’re a beginner or someone experienced he will be helpful and make the game as challenging as you like. He is patient with new players and has no problems explaining everything. Also, he makes NPCs so much fun to interact with, he’s really good at creating captivating characters! If you’re a Pathfinder 2e fan he is also very passionate about this system!
