Always comes to play with a great and well-considered story in hand. Will you find out how that story ends? Well, that's up to you. Players are free to play their characters at this table with little threat of being beaten by the plot stick, but that also means that if you do something stupid and get yourself into a bad situation, the GM is not just going to magically rescue you. This GM is excellent at adaptation; if you derail the story, he will figure out what logically happens next, but that also means that what happens next is on you. All of which is to say that this GM will put your character into a rich and detailed setting featuring fleshed-out, three-dimensional NPCS with unique personalities and motivations (and yes, fun voices) so you can explore any part of it and have a good time, but don't expect him to coddle you. There's a really awesome story waiting for you that you don't want to miss, but if you, say, refuse to enter the dungeon hidden in the wizard's tower and decide to burn the wizard's tower to the ground instead, there will be consequences waiting for you. Which is how it should be!
