About me
Gaming casually for decades, with a few multi year campaigns under my belt (& a fair number of dry spells, too.) Finally decided to try DMing; threw myself in the deep end immediately with multiple groups & systems, all in person. I am old school (or just old), so I'm still figuring out online platforms. I'm generally up to try something new or different, but sometimes I want to slip on a comfort character, too. (Looking at you, rogue) I prefer to use story to guide character progression. I'll happily make good RP decisions that make power gamers cringe. (Sometimes a lvl 9 Rogue finds religion & becomes a paladin. What can you do? 🤷)

Alec is an amazing gamemaster. I've been playing with him for awhile, and I keep coming back for more. He's knowledgeable about the game and can make the newest of players feel comfortable, while keeping the veterans entertained. He's built an inclusive community of players at all levels that's active and welcoming. Alec's worlds are immersive and richly flavored. His NPCs are engaging and well thought out. He can pivot to incorporate player shenanigans without missing a beat, using Rule of Cool to let players shine. Simply put, if you play with Alec, you will have a good time.

Todd was a great DM! The story was fun, the NPCs were full of personality, and they allowed for creative choices. Todd did a good job of giving everyone a chance to shine, and enjoyed we all had a great time.
