I know Jake in person and honestly had no idea what TTRPGs even were before I met him. Listening to him talk about his games piqued my interest so he decided to run a campaign for me and all my friends (all excluding one of these friends were also newbies.) After looking through his collection of Pathfinder books I felt in over my head.. there was so much information to take in! But Jake broke it down and made it easy to understand for all of us. I could tell he bent the rules a bit too to ensure the beginners had more fun and really enjoyed ourselves. Also my more experienced friend was just completely immersed in his fantastical story telling. As a bonus Jake's sense of humor is just as ridiculous and goofy as mine. His puns are on point so that just added more fun and we all shared a ton of belly laughs. I'm so sad the campaign ended but I look forward to when I have to time to join another one of Jake's adventures!
