Meg's session was extremely fun and chaotic in the best way possible. She went with the flow of the players while also helping to keep the story moving along. She was extremely patient when it came to player turns in combat as well as answering questions pertaining to turns. Alchemy was used for playing the game, which turned out to be quite an easy system to use. Visuals were wonderful, and tokens were intriguing. Overall, 10/10 would play again!

I first originally joined Shyann's Hogwarts Camelot game back in fall of 2024. Over winter break, a decision was made to shift into the current Waterdeep campaign. My husband was the one who found the original game, encouraging me to join since I absolutely love Harry Potter. I was unsure and very nervous, especially since you never know what kind of groups you may find. I am very used to playing D&D with friends, and so the idea of joining a stranger's group was nerve-wracking. However, as soon as I signed up for the game, Shyann and I privately discussed my character. She taught me how to build my character sheet with the Homebrew system she created for the Harry Potter game while also informing me of the expectations, the way the game works, and the lore. She was kind and patient, all of which helped me feel prepared for my first session. When we transitioned from Harry Potter to Waterdeep, Shyann was transparent and opened the discussion to our group as to how we wanted to proceed. While at times I do miss Harry Potter (simply because I just love Harry Potter, lol), I am having a blast in the Waterdeep campaign. It is quintessential D&D and just a fresh of breath air in comparison to all of the Homebrews and fancy TTRPGs that are out there. Shyann is amazing in moving the story along, bringing various NPCs to life with personality and intriguing voices. She takes backstories and personal quests/needs into account, but ultimately the main story is the primary focus to keep everyone involved. Shyann works hard in making sure everyone is included within the session, encouraging all players to speak and take part. She makes sure that the spotlight is shared amongst everyone and not just hogged by one. Finally, Shyann is extremely inclusive and takes everyone's concerns, worries, and fears into account. This can be seen in her Rules, Tabletop Etiquette and Expectations, and Safety Tool thread on Discord. Everything is written plainly and clearly in the Discord, but if you have any questions, she is more than willing to answer! Which, speaking of the Discord, it has become a wonderful community of friends. Overall, Shyann is an excellent Dungeon Master, and I highly recommend her games for anyone who is new or experienced! You are bound to have a great time. I know I cannot wait for my next session already.
