I can add our last session to my personal top 5 list of moments I’ve experienced as a player and character in my TTRPG gaming so far. Emotional, intense, and really got me in the mindset of my character where we as characters had to face a real moral dilemma and make choices that would fundamentally change the game world. Beyond that, our actions pivoted the story in an entirely new direction, which rather than try and redirect back- Herb reacted to with lightning speed, seamlessly laying the groundwork to transition to this new chapter of our story and let this moment organically develop into the new direction we’re now taking- giving more impact and meaning to the decisions that led us there.
