I played the Out For Blood: Xena the Vampiric Warrior Princess. It was the perfect length for a one-shot, doable in a single session, and a lot of fun. I liked the higher level adventure too so we had a chance to explore some of the characters' cooler features. DM was very patient with players learning to use the VTT interface. He also follows "Rule of Cool" which allowed for some wild moments. Would totally play again.

Alejandro is a great DM. Knows the rules, but applies rule of cool. Very patient with new players. He does the voices! lol and has professional-looking slick VTT with maps and characters. Would definitely recommend this particular One-Shot and Alejandro as a DM in general.

Olberic is a knowledgeable DM who works to create a great atmosphere for the players. Great job on the NPC voices! Fair/fun DM who also lets the players take control of their own story. Would recommend for sure.

I’ve played in several campaigns and one-shots with GK as the DM at all levels, and let me tell you – you’d be lucky to get a seat as his table! His games check all the boxes for a 5e player’s dream campaign (in no particular order): - Friendly and great explainer for new players, deep knowledge of 5e to keep up with the experienced players – even the dreaded “rules lawyers.” Will work with players 1-on-1 to find out more about what they’re looking for from the campaign. - Firm but fair rulings, with an explanation of why he ruled that way, not “because I said so.” - Homebrew world that is fully fleshed-out with its own lore and histories, interesting NPCs, and he makes a point of incorporating player backstories so that everyone has a place in the world. And yes, he does the voices! - Encounters that are always challenging, but balanced, so there’s a sense of accomplishment. One of the campaigns is at Level 16 and he still makes the encounters fresh and exciting. - Interesting and elaborate quests that have meaning to players (remember what I said about him incorporating backstories?), while peppered with fun side quests and encounters. He lets the players chart their own course and encounters are often determined with a roll, so players have control (or luck) over their adventure. - Masterful use of Foundry VTT with incredible, professional-looking maps and images, including homebrew magic items, BBEGs, and NPCs.

DM provided great communication and clear instructions pre-game. Was flexible where warranted - rule of cool. We used Foundry, which is awesome. Characters were created in DNDBeyond and DM has all the modules - which sounds small, but you really notice when a DM doesn't have 'em. There were no limits on what we wanted to try. DM set encounters properly for the party's level.
