This guy knows his stuff. And on top of that he's hella passionate about the world. If you're into getting your hands dirty and finding creative ways to avoid the consequences, this is your GM. If you wanna throwdown in an underground lair of the Chinese Mafia? Same guy. Take advantage of your downtime because when the shite hits the fan, you're in it for sure. He knows the rules, but he lets rule of cool. He's great for beginners (that's what I was) and really helpful - not only when you first create your character, but when you're looking to improve them too. Also, if you got a game going on that needs another player, get this guy. He's real easy to play off of. Those are my two cents, choomba, now frak off.
Elwood is very friendly and accommodating. He knows the games he GMs but is not inflexible if you present him with something that opens up room for some real dynamic action. I'm playing the Dune RPG with him and it ranges from 100% Roleplaying to real Crunchy fairly regularly. He handles the different levels of play (Agent and Architect) deftly and I've had a lot of fun both politicking and being stabby. There's definitely a direction to the arc he has us on and I'm interested to see how far we can go as a Minor House. I recommend not only this group of DUNE, but any game that Elwood is GM - if there's a space, grab it up.
