DM Rax is legendary! He uses Foundry VTT to run his games, putting together sprawling maps with endless interactivity. Open-ended storylines while still giving weight to an overarching plot, he allows for GREAT player freedom. You could be slaying a dragon one session, the next, you are babysitting a vampire. There is no 'railroad' that is set-in-stone. Amazing voice-over work (especially the uncanny creature sounds), great blend of combat and free-form roleplay, and intricate puzzles. Not to also forget the imaginative world history that is expanded with his broad and charismatic storytelling abilities. As a player, when I had initially signed up to play, I had a few questions that I preferred to discuss with Rax via VC (voice chat). I was very new to the scene, never having really played D&D, and only knowing some fundamentals. He was under no obligation to join the VC, but did so anyway! Did I mention that session was FREE? Overall I would say that DM Rax is extremely encouraging, patient, and understanding of his players. He is completely fair in his rulings, and will not shun you for fumbles or mistakes that you might make in his games. Instead, he even works with you to help alleviate them. I will be recommending this DM to anyone that is interested in playing D&D! And yes, that means you!
