About me

Hi everyone! My preferred name is Lydia, or Mike works still too*, pronouns - they/theirs or she/hers. (*It's not a deadname if I'm still going by it daily (= right?) At this time I'm mostly looking for tables that have the following: 1. Other queerdos like me (specifically but not limited to trans, women, sapphics), disabled, & neurodivergent folks. 2. Casual scheduling that isn't weekly or can work on a drop in basis without diminishing the table experience 3. Exploration & Roleplay & Puzzles > Combat. I love combat, but I'm not a fan of sessions that are all combat. In recent years I DMed a D&D 5e couple of homebrew games for my group of (mostly) family and friends, the majority of which are teenagers. Playing with a younger table tends to be a bit... unpredictable, but certainly never boring! Four words: Kenku Bards with didgeridoos. Need I say more? Most recently, I took part in a weekly campaign here that lasted about 1.5 years. I have some experience playing on Foundry (no roll20 or Owlbear though). I'm very willing to give new ttrpgs a try so long as the people I play with are cool with me learning on the go.

Played 48 sessions

I've played quite a few sessions with Nick now... 26 or 27? Something like that. This review is well overdue. If you're looking for a chill, knowledgable, collaborative DM with a touch of old school about their game, look no further! Nicholas weaves the story effortlessly within the theatre of the mind and his games are always a highlight of the week that I look forward to. Nick is also super patient and helpful with players who are new to the game and tries to make everyone feel included and valued at the table. He's flexible and tries to make the game accessible for everyone. Oh, and he wants your character to feel important and badass, so Nick's willingness to power up your character sooner rather than later is a new experience for me! Thanks for the sweet loot!
