I had a great experience with Shane as my DM! At the time I was a fairly new 5e player, and a complete newbie to playing online. I was nervous to start a long campaign with a DM (and other players) I had never met, but Shane eased those fears immediately. He did a great job of making sure everyone at the table was comfortable. The vibe was relaxed, yet he kept things interesting and moving along. He has an excellent grasp of the rules, without letting them become burdensome in play. Over the course of the year-long campaign, Shane had his work cut out for him narratively. But he managed to do a great job weaving together plot threads, player-created detours, and character backstory. It’s evident that Shane loves RPGs, DMing, and being a fan of his players. I would absolutely play in a game DMed by him again.
