About me
I grew up loving the few times I played DND, I unfortunately rarely had the opportunity to play bc my friends were more interested in sports etc. I have read most of the dnd books at one time or another in the hopes of playing but have forgotten much. I remember at 15 trying to memorize the entire monster manual and weaknesses/strengths in anticipation of playing dnd but never had the opportunity to play. I am now 32 and finally feel excited to have found start playing.

Just finished a 6-hour one-shot with Count Camerox running "Tower of the Broken Mind," and it was awesome! This was my group's first D&D experience (party of 5: me + 4 friends), including total newbies as our cleric and wizard. Count Camerox handled it perfectly. The adventure is super fun with puzzles, traps, creepy vibes, and escalating encounters that kept us hooked. His DMing is top-tier: vivid storytelling, immersive world-building, creative twists, flawless pacing. Combat was challenging but fair. He patiently guided our newbies to use their tools so we avoided a TPK without railroading. Roleplaying was A+: great NPC voices, responsive to improv, spotlight for everyone. Our rogue poisoned teammates and stole stuff, our wizard fireballed recklessly (irresponsible wizard energy 😂), and he tolerated the mischief hilariously without derailing. He kept things moving smoothly, no filler time on empty rooms. Super professional, enthusiastic, fair, and beginner-friendly. Recommend 100%
Hey you! Yea the one reading the comments! I last played DND about 15 years ago and have had an itch ever since to play but never really had the team of friends or DM to make it happen. Shortly after joining start playing I spoke to a lot of DM's who all seemed great but I wanted to start with an old Greyhawk(updated to 5.0) game to get the rust out of my gears, and I cannot give Justin enough Praise. I wish I could select more bubbles up top but it looks like it only allows 3. I really enjoy Justin's thrill for world building as well as how he trickles in both vital and trivia information so you never really can guess what's around the next turn or what information will become life saving later. He is extremely tolerant of player creativity (i.e im not good with voices but I am working on it for my character and he and the team have all been very supportive as well as engaging). Justin has a way of making you feel like you can explore any aspect of your creativity free of judgement so it just feels really great, and getting to share my joy for that and experience the same joy it gives others to explore their creativity is really awesome. He is very fair in combat and keeps the world challenging, he allows you to make mistakes in strategy as that is the best way to learn. I have asked him countless questions outside of sessions and he has answered them, I look forward to joining a couple other weekly groups and playing another 300+ games with Justin as DM.
