JJ was the very first DM I'd ever had on Startplaying. I had gotten into TTRPGs on a whim only a few years ago, but it was just a quick fling so to speak - a dozen sessions or so of a game called Crossroads Carnival, more as a way to be less of a hermit (it certainly made my therapist happy that I was actually talking to people). Naturally, I got the itch and wanted more, so the people I was with at the time recommended this website. I landed on JJ almost at random, and it was easily one of the best decisions of my life. That first game of Vampire: The Masquerade opened up a whole new world to me and gave me some of the best memories I'd had in years. JJ isn't just a DM to me, he's a friend that I hope to have for the rest of my life. JJ is incredibly knowledgeable, he's introduced me to 3 different game systems since our first VtM game. His creativity and passion continues to amaze me. He's kind, patient, compassionate, and always willing to listen. He's great at making sure everyone gets their chance to shine, while also making sure things run smoothly. He did a wonderful job making me feel welcome and included when I first started. I've found so many new friends and passions during my time on Startplaying, and I owe it all to this man. I've since come out of my shell more and branched out to other DMs as well. It helps to get a different perspective and see different styles and storytelling abilities, but JJ is still my favorite by far. As long as he isn't sick of my annoying ass, I'll always come back for more. TL;DR - look at the number of sessions played, what do *you* think?
