My son (11) and I were new to D&D. Ned has made our first campaign (shadow of dragon queen) fun, and a great learning experience. He keeps a good pace, and there is a nice balance of role playing and combat (of which we enjoy both). When we ask for advice, he's happy to provide, and also keeps it challenging enough that there are some exciting moments.
