DM/ Player Synergy!

FUN! It's that simple... Evan's games are just pure fun. He sets up an exciting world and a positive atmosphere where you feel like your character can really come to life and do (or at least try, lol) anything. He plays by the RAW 95% of the time so you feel like you're on steady ground, and then he leans into player creativity and comes up with fair, sensical ways to let your character do the wild things you think will work outside of the box. I like the voices he does, the scenic pictures he paints, and (did I say it already?) the FUN! Absolutely recommend his games to both new and veteran players. Thanks for the great times Evan, and the many more to come! (2nd review) All of the players were chatting after last night's game. We all agreed we'd never had such a connection to our level 1, 1-shot chatacters before. Evan's games bring out the best in players for sure. Our biggest hero wasn't the one who did the most damage or cast the coolest spell, it was the player who handed off his inspiration to another player to let that PC shine. He spent most of the night stepping between injured PC's and the enemies approaching them or grappling party members (with their approval of course) out of bad positions. He was great, of course, but Evan as DM rewards that kind of behavior with awesome narrative that makes all the players' choices valuable and exciting. Can't wait to play in another West Dungeon game!
