I've now played 5 sessions with Jesse and have really enjoyed the experience! I was hesitant to take the plunge of a paid GM experience but Jesse has put all those concerns to rest. Jesse's table is very welcoming and professional. To take 4 strangers and make a comfortable roleplay setting is not an easy task - and Jesse has accomplished this. His world building is deep and well thought out, and the idea of the interconnected campaigns he runs is very unique! (the supporting discord server is also a great experience) So far, our sessions have certainly had a focus on roleplay, but with a mix of exploration and combat as well. When combat does break out, Theatre of the Mind is used. I love a good battle map, but have found myself really enjoying the Theatre of the Mind aspect of our game - unique environments for combat are designed, and its really well paced! If you are looking for a roleplay focused game where your character's choices and decisions matter to the world; and have a tangible impact, then join one of Jesse's games
