John ran a great one shot! He gave players agency and rolled with wacky player choices but still brought the game to a fun conclusion. Having played with him twice, very much recommend him as a DM.

Our one shot was creative and engaging, included puzzles, competitions, and fun combat. He has an amazing homebrew world that I'm excited to play more. In the game itself, he encourages and rewards creativity from the players and clearly loves the game! He has an amazing memory and grasp of the rules and kept control of the game but was flexible with a rule when it stifled a creative move someone wanted to execute. As a relatively new player, he also made it very easy to follow along and it was seamless when he gave me a little guidance when I needed it. Highly recommend trying a game with Tyler!
