Dan does a great job of balancing a session between players who love combat and players who love RP. He's helpful, flexible, and chill, and it's clear that his goal is to help everyone feel like they're part of an awesome story no matter what part of the story they enjoy most. During one session when a player couldn't attend and Dan had to low-key pilot her character in the background, he absolutely nailed the mannerisms and choices for that character -- like he notices how his players want their characters to act and interact with others SO WELL that he can step in and be that character.
