I've played a few different games with Chance Russo. The most prominent, however, was Empire of The Ghouls. Which is ongoing today. Since the beginning of this campaign, my DM has done a wonderful job of setting scenes, using music, and using a variety of different voices to paint images of the NPCs we are speaking to in my head. I think that his best quality is using the pre-determined storyline and paces to add on his own personal creative twists. You never know what you'll get. And the perfect, quick thinking he does on the spot with his impromptu scenes are amazing. I never feel more immersed than when Chance is guiding a story with his own creativity. If you ask me, he needs to write and run his own content. I would be extremely eager to be in a campaign born purely out of his own imagniation. As in our sessions, I have the most fun and feel the most immersed when his vision is what is being displayed to me. Getting into a session with this DM, for me, is really just perfect escapism. If you wanna venture into a different world and have a place to be yourself, and for your character to run around in, Chance is the DM to go for.
