About me
Long time fan of Dungeons and Dragons, I grew up on creating and being part of fantastic stories. While I've always sworn by the system, I have begun branching out as I realize that the story precedes the system. That doesn't make it any less fun to see what the system creates by trying to bring order to the story. I have particular interests in faerie stories, the undead, and characters that are not human. Not sure what that says about me, but they are reoccurring themes where applicable. StartPlaying only allows one set of pronouns to be selected, but I use he/him as well as fae/faer.

Daisy Mae did an excellent job guiding a game where at least half of the players didn't know what to expect from the system, having never played before. I loved that they were able to coax a tale out of prompts readily available to all of us and it still left me stunned thinking about the meaning of the scene. Players looking for an introduction to a system probably couldn't go wrong with taking the plunge with Daisy Mae.
