One of my biggest challenges when playing DnD is the roleplaying aspect - I would always get very self-conscious when I tried to get into character. Scott was incredible at creating a safe space for that - and he never got impatient or annoyed with my constant questions about the system, gameplay, etc. I asked him once what he like so much about being a GM - and he told me that his favorite thing is seeing what kind of shenanigans his players can get up to. He embraces those weird ideas and encourages out-of-the-box thinking, and he'll help you work through the mechanics of what you want to happen. Scott is that rare type of GM that is good for both beginners and veterans - he's patient, fair, and does the legwork to create a fun campaign. 10/10 stars.
