About me

I mainly have experience with 5e DND, but have playing many videogames and board games and have had played DND a couple times. My experience mainly comes from one shots or a single, long term campaign, so I have only tried a couple of classes in DND and am trying to learn new ones!

Scott is an incredible DM, he knows the rules and is able to recall most of the information that's involved in this game off the top of his head. He is also willing to make exceptions to certain elements of rules (within reason) to allow players to be more effective and not feel bad about their choices if they happen to bring spells that the player did not quite understand/could not normally use. He brings incredible visuals and sounds to our games through Foundry, which is easy enough for people to pick up after a couple sessions (I was a total newbie to the program but it runs amazingly well) and Scott is a true wizard at always being able to make our experience more immersive and involved as we continue our campaign. Scott also began the campaign (CoS) by ensuring that horror/darker themes were alright with us, and was checking in at the beginning sessions to ensure that we all felt safe. He has been patient to teach us and correct us about rules, as some of us are newer then others. Scott has also given the tale a refreshing twist, as he has updated the visuals, created his own maps (for certain aspects), and reworks fights/rules in this far off land in an effort to help you survive your time in Barovia. I have loved every session with Scott and his games quickly became a highlight to my weekend. My party all sings to his praises as well, we all love our time spent fighting horrific monsters in a dark and spooky land! I would definitely include the tags "Terrific Story Teller" (his narration often draws me in so well that I forget to take notes), "Inclusive/Safe", "Sets the Mood", "World Builder" and "Allows for player creativity" were the website allow me to choose more then three.
