Just finished a homebrew campaign from Carlos and I loved it. All characters had a moment with the spotlights where there background became important for the entire story. Combat is challenging so death is optional (certainly with some homebrew rules) but doesn't feel impossible and also doesn't feel like DM vs players and there is enough space to do fun and cool stuff and not being told you can't. And last but not least the maps look very nice. Detailed and also quite a few animations to make the map feel alive as combat animations. In general he wants to give the players the most fun they can have and he has certainly succeeded in that with the last campaign.
