About me

51/M professor and dad to two kick-ass kids (16/10). I played AD&D when I was a kid in the early/mid 1980s (during the era of parents worrying that it would lead us into devil worship!). Back in the day, I played a ton of them (Paranoia, Top Secret, Gamma World, CotC, Tunnels and Trolls, Boot Hill, Gangbusters) but ultimately always returned to D&D. In the last couple of years, started dabbling in listening to the D&D podcasts. I didn't pick playing up again until the pandemic, when cabin fever led me to explore 5e with my brother and our families. Now checking out games beyond just us and having a blast in the RPG world again. Have played on Fantasy Grounds and use DNDBeyond, R20, and Beyond20.
