Sam is a consummate storyteller. His attention to detail, character voices, choice of music, and ability to track the "stage time" of each player all make sessions fair, engaging, and memorable. You can feel the balance he keeps between careful planning and openness to inspiration, and you can feel him wanting players to succeed and enjoying it when they do so. His scenes are marked by intellect, jovial goodwill, and heart—all things for which Sam gives his players all the credit.
