JMB is well mannered, attentive, and polite. He is an excellent storyteller that manages to immerse everybody into his world. He is careful to give each player time in the spotlight, and still manages to move the story along. Every session there is story development, and he makes his players feel like they have achieved something at every turn. His combat encounters are fair, and true to the lore of the setting. The visuals and music are excellent, often during explorations there would be audio cues and hints, he roleplays the NPCs in a way that is true to their nature, just as he does for creatures during combat. Overall, I highly recommend JMB as a GM. Go for it, book him!
I have been playing with Dave for over a year now, and he is fantastic at taking you through the story. He welcomes creative game play, and is always very attentive. He has a thorough understanding of the rules, and is a very fair DM. I 100% recommend Dave for a DM, for both experienced players and beginners.
So, I've been playing with Jinjeet twice a week for over 18 months now and in each session, there is at least one occasion that makes me laugh out loud. I even recall a session where the whole group laughed hysterically for a good 30 minutes! Without hesitation, I can tell you to book him. He’s great. His 40+ years of DM-ing experience gifts him an astonishing command of game rules and mechanics. His knowledge of lore (that undoubtedly comes from having read library shelves full of fantasy books) about all the campaign settings is superb. This translates to NPCs who behave true to lore and their nature, which contributes heavily into how immersive his campaigns are. His voices and accents are quite fun and good. The orcs with a cockney accent always crack me up. He tailors the game experience to each table. For people who prefer combat tactics and dungeon delves, he can run combats that feel like chess games. For people who prefer exploration and roleplaying, he can improvise with the best of them. Like I have already mentioned, I cannot recall a game session in which I didn’t laugh out loud. Jinjeet is also highly skilled in running games in Fantasy Grounds and in Foundry. He can code spells, feats, and abilities in no time, and is very patient in guiding players through the nuts and bolts of these virtual tabletops. His ample use of audio and visual aids simply adds to the already immersive experience. He is very accessible, and his discord community is quite lively with a large group of experienced players, who are ready to share their knowledge and humor. I plan on keep playing with him for as long as he’s willing to DM.
