Being a first time player, Derrick is the perfect GM. He takes his time with everyone and allows players to roleplay as much as they feel comfortable, but also makes sure that everyone is part of the game / story. He is always open to rule of cool, but is consistent with his play style. Derrick also gets immediate feedback after each session from all the players, asking if they had any stars or wishes for future games. He allows in depth backstories, but doesn't force players to have backstories. He tries to incorporate as much of the stories as he can into the overall game. He always tries to make himself available for ideas or to get clarity on things you don't understand being a new player. Highly recommend him!
