About me
In my small universe I've exclusively been a GM for a variety of games with children, teens, and adults. My Gm experience has included DnD 5E, Call of Cthuhlu, Mutant Year Zero, Tales from the Loop, Masks, Frontier Space, Lacuna. I generally like story/narrative based games that are lighter on the rules. Currently, I'm looking to be a player in some online games...open to trying just about any game.

Golvin - One-Shot GM

We played a Blade Runner one-shot...quite fun and immersive. Really loved the moral dilemmas posed by this game. Thank you for a great session.

I played a 1 person Quietus game for this session. David was great about establishing safety rules at the outset, which was important for the this RPG. David was also great about enlisting my thoughts about the setting and the direction of the story. Along the way, David was great about the explaining the rules and adapting the story based on my decisions and roll outcomes. David was really creative during the session and I really enjoyed the experience. Would definitely play more sessions with David again.

Devin was great. He facilitated a one shot of Blades in the Dark for a part of four who were mostly new to the game. During character and crew creation, Devin was ready with suggestions to help move the process along and to support our group's initial shyness. During the game, Devin was good about keeping all of the players involved, rotating through player actions with good pacing. He also allowed each of us to be creative with our abilities and actions, while also adhering to the rules and structure of the game. He also supported a collaborative process that gave all of the players a chance to build the story. This was my first experience using StartPlaying and Devin made it a very positive one.
