I've been playing with Justin as a GM for about 3 years, first in the Fabled Lands system and now in his own home-brew Greek mythology-based 5E campaign. He is very much the reason why I've adopted TTRPGing as a hobby. Justin's sessions are meticulously prepared and he's always ready for what the party decides to do, even if they're throwing a curveball. In his homebrew campaign, there are story hooks and roleplaying opportunities for every player character, and he has taken backstory ideas that I have developed and turned them into great antagonists in the game. His combat sessions reward creative thinking and teamwork. They are challenging enough that player character deaths are not uncommon, but fair enough that they are never inevitable. Beyond the mechanics of GMing, however, I think Justin just has the right temperament to be a GM. He's laid back enough to encourage genuine camaraderie in a group, but also sticks to his guns on rulings enough to not let any player undermine what the group is looking to do. His games really do feel like vast, immersive collaborative stories, and if that's what you're looking for in a group, I couldn't recommend him more highly.
