I've been playing with Deadman weekly for over four years now, and love his games as well as the community he fosters in his Discord server. He is amazing at long-form storytelling, and will weave your character's backstory into the campaign, sometimes even resulting in mini-arcs focused around them. Everyone gets their chance to shine, with Deadman fostering a welcoming environment for role-playing and creative thinking. On the game mechanics side of things, Deadman continually updates the homebrew rules used in his games, with big updates at the start of each year, including new subclasses and class reworks. All of these homebrew rules are open to discussion by the community, allowing the players to push back against unwanted changes, and to suggest their own. I've played with many different DMs and groups over my ten years of playing, and Deadman+his community are easily the best I've been apart of. It's well worth your money to play his games.
I've played with many GMs both free and paid over the course of six years playing online D&D, and Morrab/Matt is among the very best that I have experienced. Been playing a paid PF 1e Skull and Shackles game with him for over two years, and he always comes prepared with great NPC voices and handouts for important characters/places/items. His improv is top notch, and he works in character backstories quite seamlessly. Morrab always makes sure that every one of his players is having fun, and within reason will allow changes/offer suggestions to improve one's experience. More than just a GM, Matt is one of the nicest people I've met, and I look forward to the pregame small talk almost as much as the game itself. He is absolutely worth the amount he charges, just don't ask him to do too much math 😜
