I consider Alf to be the GM that taught be about what it means to be a good gamer. He strives to bring his campaigns to life in an immersive and layered way. The details and nuances are always delightful. From the simplistic village scape to a breath taking view of the stars up on the water. When you sit at his table expect to be in for a treat but also expect to learn. He will not coddle you. You and your party will tell the story and Alf creates the place where that can be done. As he often says " the game is only as good as what you put into it." You have to bring your full self to the game. It is worth it play alongside Alf. The challenges you will face in game not only better you as a player bur also as a person. He is very open to helping fellow players learn and create something unique. He loves to teach and share knowledge. You won't find another GM like him!
