The DM is great - chill and flexible. However, the story itself was AI generated, and it showed. Elements of the story did not connect to each other or even contradicted certain established facts, and motivations were shallow. I'm glad that this was free and I appreciate the DM's commitment to time, but I would have appreciated knowing beforehand that everything was AI generated. Update: The DM has taken umbrage with my 3 star review and has messaged me directly to complain about my critique. He insists that this was only the second time he used AI to fully generate a story. He also insists that any contradictions are not because of the AI, but because of him running the game for the first time. I have offered to change the stars and keep my critique here for context, but he has refused and says he wants to quit StartPlaying because of my review.
