As a n00b to D&D in general (and specifically to the online version with Tabletop Simulator) Sam assuaged my fears about the process within the first 10 minutes of the character creation session. He helped me zip along the process, creating a cool character with ease, and feeling comfortable with the rules of TTS and the FATE system, which I had never used before. As far as gameplay, his campaign manages to go beyond just good fun and make me feel like I'm actually in an episode of Star Trek, richly detailed and imagined, where actions always come with consequences. Sam's use of background music and animated portrayals of NPC's bring the story to life, mainly, due to his obvious passion for storytelling. In short, he's a fantastic GM, his campaign is as deeply interesting as it is accessible. I would do pretty much any campaign with him at the helm.
