Grisix runs a game that’s centered on player choice and doesn’t push you in a particular direction. Players can choose to follow a path or not, but the NPCs will continue to do what makes sense for them as time passes which gives the game a more realistic feel. The game has extensive home rules, but they’re well documented and many are automated in Avrae so they can be applied quickly and you don’t have to remember all the details. Grisix does a good job explaining the rules, and they give you new choices about how you want to play your character in situations that would normally be handled in passing without much detail. I’ve enjoyed the games that Grisix has run for the realistic feel that he gives the world.
