What can I say about Boomer? Until recently it had been a good decade since I last played a TTRPG, and I didn't get to play much in the decade prior, either. In some respects, I'm starting to feel like I'd never truly played before the current campaign. Boomer's world building is phenomenal. He puts in so much work to include minor details and prepares for different scenarios, but he's not at all shy when it comes to dealing with the unexpected. He knows how to entertain his players' whims while also be able to steer them back on track. His background as a writer shines through in role play driven sessions with just enough dice rolling to keep a greater excitement of the unknown at the table. He absolutely loves to serve both the story and his players, assisting with character builds and obscure rules. But as knowledgeable as he is, he's not at all a rules lawyer. Instead, he's a champion of what makes sense. Above all, he recognizes that the purpose is to have fun, and he does everything in his power to facilitate that for the whole table.
