The best part about playing with Erudi is that he knows how to collaborate. What I mean by this, is that as a player I can contribute to the scene in reasonable yet meaningful ways, and he will roll with it, often creating hilarious situations that the whole table can enjoy and take part in themselves. I may laugh often at his table, but this doesn't mean he won't take the game seriously. In fact, there are many moments in the campaigns I've played with him where the tone can shift from goofy shenanigans to serious moments of loss, introspection, danger, and love without getting whiplash. You are free to be yourself around Erudi, and participate as much or as little in roleplay as you want. If you need help with something, he will occasionally remind you of things or nudge you in the right direction (with the appropriate skill check of course). He plays rules as written, and you will be hard pressed to get him to bend those rules, unless you can be particularly persuasive, and this allows every decision made regarding feats, edges, features, etc. to feel meaningful. If you need help making your character fit the game you are playing, he is there to offer it. If you need to take a break one week for any reason, he is understanding. If you need to speak to him privately regarding the game, he is open ears and receptive. And most importantly, if you need a punching bag for all your jokes and teasing, he's the guy!
