Guthrie is absolutely phenomenal! I pitched my character idea to Guthrie a few, short hours before our Session 0 and by the time we started playing at Session 1, Guthrie had helped me take a vague concept and tie it in to the world of D&D in a way that excites me. He is patient, inventive, and has really made the entire experience a delight. He lets his players be creative in all sorts of ways and offers so many good opportunities for inventive action and interesting roleplay. He really made us heroes last session - no spoilers! - and I can't wait for next Thursday! If you're a newbie - and even if you're not - Guthrie is an excellent DM.
